Meet Jude
A life of music
I come from a musical family. My father went to college for music performance and my mother grew up singing hymns, and for as long as I can remember they would learn songs together and share their joy for music with everyone around them. With a piano always in the house, I taught myself how to play and compose on keyboard from age five, and at age eleven I discovered my love for cello and began taking classical private lessons, which I continued all the way through high school.

As an adult, my love for music has only grown. While working whatever job could pay the bills, I never stopped playing, writing, and singing. I approached music with a dedication that I quickly realized was something that I wanted to share with the world and pass on to future generations. I have come to understand music as the language of emotions, and I want to inspire others to learn how to speak that language too.

The focuses of my teaching style are technique, discipline, and passion. I want every one of my students coming away from lessons inspired to play, committed to practice, and with a deeper love for their art. I accept students ages 7-18, no prior musical knowledge or experience required.
